The City of Moberly, Missouri hired Carrothers Construction to be the General Contractor for their Aquatic Center. Construction started in July 2009 and the pool was open for swimming the beginning of May 2010. The Aquatic Center has a zero entry pool with a water play structure, spray jets and sun shades. The lap area of the pool has a shark and dragon floatable for the kids to play on. Other features include a diving area, a current channel, an open flume slide and a family slide. The facility has a masonry bathhouse with concessions and changing areas and a separate masonry equipment building.
