Carrothers Construction met with the pool committee of the Meadowbrook Golf & Country Club in November of 2001 to discuss their need to replace their 30 year old pool. Due to the short period of time before the 2002 swimming season, a design build contract was negotiated for removal of the existing pool and for the design & construction of a new pool.

The design of the new pool was completed in December and construction of a 5,718 square foot pool with over 10,000 square feet of concrete pool deck was started in January 2002. The new pool with associated water play features, zero depth entry, new water recirculation and filtering systems were completed and ready for a May 27, 2002 grand opening.
